We are seeking a vigilant and dependable CCTV Operator / Security Officer to oversee surveillance operations and ensure the safety of premises for our clients premises. This role involves monitoring security cameras, conducting patrols, assisting with access control and responding promptly to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, be attentive to detail, and committed to maintaining a secure environment. Duties
- Monitor multiple CCTV screens continuously to observe activity across designated areas.
- Be confident in the process of collecting requested footage when/if required.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks.
- Respond swiftly to alarms or suspicious activity, escalating issues as necessary.
- Write detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts including Daily log sheets.
- Maintain accurate logs of surveillance footage and security activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid when required and following established protocols.
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any faults or malfunctions promptly.
- Enforce site policies regarding access control and safety procedures.
Qualifications

AND
* APPLICANTS MUST HOLD A FRONTLINE SIA CCTV LICENCE*
- Prior experience in surveillance and security roles
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity.
- Certification or knowledge of first aid procedures is preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure during emergencies or high-stress situations.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, or public holidays as required.
- Valid SIA security licences

Pay: £13.50 per hour
