Role Summary:
To support the IT department with care and maintenance of computing, audio, visual, photocopying, telephone equipment, email, AD/SAP account management, and SAP support.
Key Responsibilities:
· To support the IT department with care and maintenance of computing, audio, visual, photocopying, telephone equipment, email, AD/SAP account management, and SAP support.
· Diagnose technical hardware and software issues. Research unknown issues using available information/team to resolve.
· Redirect problems to appropriate resource and identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
· Keep track of problems and requests and keep notes to review with manager.
· To assist with the purchase, setting up, maintenance and repair of computers, audio-visual equipment, computer-linked equipment and computer-related equipment.
· To install and configure software applications.
· To help produce and maintain I.T statistics, reports, checklists and other documentation as necessary.
· To oversee the upkeep of ASSET register
· Responsible for the SLAM process on AD and SAP systems
· To maintain satisfactory standards of safety and security in relation to computer rooms and equipment, ensuring they are tidy and free from hazards
· Be prepared to start or finish a job of work or be contacted outside normal working hours in order to meet agreed service levels and within an agreed and reasonable level of disturbance.
· Assist the Senior Technical Specialist, IT Manager and Head of IT with any ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
