Full job description

Overview
We are currently seeking a friendly, confident receptionist to join our team. We currently have branches located in Woodbridge, Ipswich, Felixstowe & Rendlesham.

This is a part time position of 24.67 hours on average per week based across our Woodbridge and Rendlesham branch, with scope for additional hours.

The hours required are currently Monday 2-6:30pm, Wednesday 9-7pm, Thursday 1-6pm, Friday 2-6:30pm, Saturday 8-1pm every 3rd week. These may be subject to change.

Responsibilities

- Dispense patient medication
- Greet clients and their pets warmly and assist with check-in procedures
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to enquiries
- Manage client records and ensure accuracy of information
- Process payments and handle billing enquiries
- Assist veterinarians with administrative tasks and consultations
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

This is a varied role which may require you working across our other branches.
