Whether you currently operate packaging, printing, converting, production, processing, or other manufacturing equipment, we can provide the training and development needed to become a skilled Extrusion Operator within the flexible packaging industry.

What You'll Be Doing
Following a structured training programme, you'll learn how to:
- Operate blown film extrusion equipment safely and efficiently
- Set up machinery and carry out product changeovers
- Monitor and control production processes to achieve quality standards
- Identify and resolve process issues
- Carry out product quality inspections and checks
- Record production information using our manufacturing systems
- Support continuous improvement activities
- Work closely with Team Leaders and experienced Operators to develop your technical knowledge
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and quality
As your skills develop, you'll take on greater responsibility and have opportunities to progress within the business.
We're Looking For People Who:
- Have experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Enjoy working with equipment and have good mechanical aptitude
- Are technically minded and enjoy problem solving
- Take pride in producing high-quality work
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Are reliable, flexible, and safety-focused
- Hold a valid FLT licence (preferred)
Previous extrusion experience is not essential – full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Shift Pattern
✔ 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
✔ 2 days / 2 nights rotation
✔ Average 42 hours per week
✔ 1-hour paid break per shift
✔ Regular overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x
