Owner Driver – Locker Route Van DriverJob Description
We are seeking reliable and self-motivated Owner Drivers / Van Drivers to manage dedicated locker delivery routes. The role involves collecting parcels from a depot and delivering them safely and efficiently to designated parcel lockers and collection points.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and organize parcels for daily delivery routes
- Deliver parcels to parcel lockers, shops, and collection hubs
- Scan parcels using a handheld device or delivery app
- Ensure deliveries are completed within scheduled timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and proof of delivery
- Communicate professionally with dispatch teams and site contacts
- Perform basic vehicle checks and ensure van cleanliness
- Follow all road safety and company compliance procedures
Requirements
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Own long-wheelbase van
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good navigation and route-planning skills
- Smartphone for delivery applications
- Ability to lift and move parcels safely
Desirable Skills
- Experience with locker deliveries or courier services
- Knowledge of local delivery areas
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Good customer service skills
Working Hours
- Full-time / Part-time available
- Weekend availability may be required
Pay
- Daily rate pay structure
