Full job description

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Printing Associate to join our team at MBE Weybridge a busy shipping and printing shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer service, processing shipments, and completing a variety of print and copying jobs to meet the needs of our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers with their shipping, printing, related service needs.
Provide advice on packaging, shipping options, and print formats based on customer requirements.
Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate billing and invoicing.
Friendly and professional customer focus approach.

Shipping Services:

Process domestic and international shipments via various carriers ( FedEx, DHL, UPS, Parcelforce, Royal Mail).
Pack and label items securely for shipping, ensuring compliance with carrier guidelines.
Track shipments and handle any queries or issues with deliveries.

Printing Services:

Operate printers, copiers, and binding equipment to produce high-quality print jobs, including flyers, business cards, banners, and more.
Assist customers with print design and layout, ensuring they receive the correct formats and finishing options.
Maintain print equipment and ensure it is stocked with paper, ink, and other supplies.

Inventory and Supplies:

Monitor and replenish shipping and printing supplies such as boxes, envelopes, packing tape, paper, and toner.
Assist in ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in IT/ shipping/ printing, or a similar customer service role preferred. Familiarity with shipping software and equipment is a plus
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office: Excel/Word/ Outlook/PowerPoint, Windows 10/11)
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Knowledge of Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs).
Multitasking: Simultaneously speaking with a customer while navigating computer systems, taking notes, or accessing databases.
