Lead Engineering Excellence at Victrex
We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team based at our Hillhouse manufacturing site. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape engineering strategy, drive operational improvement, and ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our assets.
You'll lead teams across Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation and DCS Engineering, while playing a key role in major capital investment programmes, plant turnarounds and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Leading and developing a team of Engineering Leads and multi-disciplinary engineers.
Providing technical leadership across a complex COMAH-regulated manufacturing site.
Driving improvements in reliability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and cost of manufacture.
Acting as the technical authority for engineering standards, process safety and management of change.
Supporting the delivery of capital projects, shutdowns and strategic improvement programmes.
Shaping future engineering strategy and influencing major investment decisions.
Promoting a culture of safety, compliance, innovation and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing, chemical, process or industrial environment.
Strong experience managing complex engineering assets on a COMAH-regulated site.
Expertise across multiple engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, process and control systems.
Demonstrable success leading engineering teams and driving performance improvements.
Strong understanding of process safety, functional safety, engineering standards and regulatory compliance.
Passion for coaching, developing and growing engineering talent.
