Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care within a dynamic medical environment. Applicants must possess relevant qualifications and experience.

Duties

Dispense prescribed medications with precision, adhering to legal and safety standards
Offer expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to patients and healthcare staff
Monitor patient medication regimens, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes
Administer medications when required, including injections or other forms of medication administration
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient information, and medication inventories
Collaborate with medical professionals to develop personalised treatment plans
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies
Provide guidance on anatomy knowledge relevant to medication effects and patient care procedures

Skills

Proven experience in a pharmacy setting
Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology as it relates to medication administration and patient care
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
Ability to assess patient needs accurately and provide appropriate pharmaceutical advice
Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and record keeping practices
Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and confidentiality in all duties
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices in patient care
