About Postal Packaging
Postal Packaging started the way most good businesses do: with a clear gap in the market, a small but determined team, and a lot of hard work.
Founded by four women with extensive experience in the packaging and envelope industry, Postal Packaging began as a home-based business before growing into a thriving warehouse operation in Cardiff, Wales.
We are part of the Enveseur Group, a family of ecommerce businesses serving customers across the UK and international markets. Together, we help businesses of every size—from independent retailers and ecommerce startups to large-scale fulfilment operations—find the right packaging solutions with competitive pricing, expert support and fast, reliable delivery.
As we continue to grow our ecommerce business across multiple markets, we're now looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our Google Ads strategy and help drive the next stage of our growth.
The Role
We're looking for a commercially minded Performance Marketing Specialist with a strong background in Google Ads and ecommerce.
You'll take ownership of our paid search strategy across multiple international markets, managing campaigns that directly influence business growth. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for planning, optimising and scaling campaigns while working closely with our wider ecommerce and marketing team.
Reporting to the Group Head of Ecommerce, you'll have the autonomy to identify opportunities, recommend improvements, test new ideas and continuously optimise performance through data-driven decision making.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analysing data, challenging assumptions and delivering measurable commercial results. While you'll own our Google Ads activity, success will come through close collaboration with colleagues across ecommerce, content and development to improve customer journeys and maximise performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage Google Ads campaigns across multiple international markets.
- Plan, build and optimise Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display and Remarketing campaigns.
- Manage and optimise Google Merchant Center.
- Monitor budgets and maximise return on advertising spend (ROAS).
- Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute A/B tests for ad copy, audiences and campaign structures.
- Maintain accurate conversion tracking using GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Work closely with the ecommerce, content and development teams to recommend and deliver landing page improvements that increase conversion rates.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Produce regular performance reports and actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Stay up to date with Google's latest advertising features, best practices and industry trends.
Collaborate across the business to ensure paid search activity supports wider commercial objectives.
About You
You're commercially minded, analytical and naturally curious. You enjoy taking ownership, using data to solve problems and continuously testing new ideas to improve results.
You'll be comfortable working independently while collaborating with colleagues across the business to achieve shared goals.
Essential Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Strong experience with Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display and Remarketing campaigns.
- Excellent knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking.
- Experience managing Google Merchant Center.
- Experience running international campaigns.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to take ownership of your work.
- The ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and influence decisions using evidence and insight.
Desirable
- Google Ads certifications.
- Experience improving landing page performance through testing and collaboration.
- Experience working within a fast-growing ecommerce business.
What Success Looks Like
During your first 12 months you'll be expected to:
- Increase revenue generated through Google Ads.
- Improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
- Increase new customer acquisition.
- Support expansion into additional international markets.
- Strengthen conversion tracking and attribution.
- Introduce improved campaign structures and a robust testing framework.
- Reduce wasted ad spend while improving campaign efficiency.
Why Join Postal Packaging?
This is an opportunity to own one of the most important growth channels in a successful and expanding ecommerce business.

As a close-knit team, we work collaboratively, support one another and move quickly. Your ideas will be heard, your expertise will be valued and your work will directly influence the future growth of the business.
