Full job description

We're looking for an organised, friendly and proactive Salon Receptionist to be the face of our salon. As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception and supporting the salon team.

This is a varied role that combines client care, reception, administration, and salon support, making you an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome clients and deliver an outstanding salon experience.
Manage appointments, emails and general telephone enquiries using Phorest.
Make outbound calls to potential business leads
Build client relationships through excellent communication and follow-up calls.
Process payments and maintain accurate client records.
Recommend salon services and retail products.
Shampoo and prepare clients for their appointments.
New client outreach
Support stylists throughout the day as required.
Maintain a clean, organised and professional salon environment.
Assist with laundry, stock replenishment and general salon presentation.

About You

You'll be someone who:

Has previous experience in customer service, reception within the Hair and Beauty Industry
Is organised, reliable and able to multitask in a busy environment.
Has excellent communication and computer skills.
Enjoys building relationships with clients.
Takes pride in maintaining high standards throughout the salon.
Works well both independently and as part of a team.
Has a positive attitude and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Working Hours

This role is based in the salon and includes standing for periods of time, shampooing clients, supporting the salon floor and working evenings or weekends in line with business needs.

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

working within the hair industry: 1 year (preferred)
