Are you patient, customer-focused communicator looking to step into the booming renewable energy sector?
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Advisor to join our UK after-sales team.
Based entirely in our office, you will act as the friendly and essential first point of contact for installers out in the field.
We will provide comprehensive product training, empowering you to confidently provide efficient remote support and guide users through basic troubleshooting for our solar inverters and energy storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Dedicated Helpline Support: Act as the primary voice of our company, answering incoming phone calls from UK installers and on-site customers to provide immediate technical assistance.
Guided Troubleshooting: Calmly and clearly guide installers through basic operations, system settings, and standard troubleshooting procedures for our inverters and battery systems.
Ticket Management: Use Zendesk to accurately log, track, and close incoming support cases, ensuring every customer query is handled professionally.
Seamless Escalation: Identify complex technical issues, document the details clearly, and promptly escalate them to our Senior Engineers or R&D team for further investigation.
Requirement:
Experience: Previous experience in a call center, technical support helpline, or a similar customer-facing role. (While not strictly required, a background as an electrician apprentice or practical PV/battery installation experience is a strong bonus!)
Empathy & Resilience: High patience and a strongly customer-oriented mindset. You must be adept at managing the emotional stress of installers who are facing urgent issues on-site.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English. You must be able to explain technical steps clearly and confidently over the phone.
Professional Skills: Familiarity with standard office tools. Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk) is highly preferred.
Mindset: A genuine and strong willingness to learn technical concepts in the renewable energy sector.
Education: No specific degree required - your communication skills, empathy, and eagerness to learn are what matter most to us.
Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
