In this role you will play a central role in delivering bespoke financial solutions to high-net-worth clients. You will build deep, trusted relationships, working closely with individuals and families to understand their unique goals and design comprehensive strategies across banking, lending, and investments. Drawing on your market expertise, you will craft tailored portfolios, structured products, and wealth planning solutions that align with clients’ long-term ambitions.
You will also be responsible for managing and mitigating risk within client portfolios, using your insights to protect and grow their wealth. Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Private Banking/Wealth Management
- RDR Level 4 Qualified (including Securities)
- Proven experience working in a relationship management role
- Internal and external stakeholder management experience
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Private Banker
- Corporate business development experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of wealth management, investment strategies, and estate planning, delivering personalized financial solutions to clients

This role will be based in London.
This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
Purpose of the role
Deliver exceptional sales and business performance by acquiring, developing and maintaining highly proactive, long term client relationships. Protect Barclays reputation through sound risk decisions by managing client group within their risk profile and appropriate regulatory framework.
Accountabilities
Manage and grow client relationships and acquire new clients - identifying and managing solutions to meet a wide range of client needs.
Establish a sound understanding of the strategy of the clients in their portfolio through regular proactive contact, responding to client / prospect queries and requests and identifying opportunities that will deliver long term commercial reward.
Manage operational, reputational, financial crime and credit risk for the portfolio to avoid exposing Barclays to undue risk.
Ensure all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards Service/group relationships - referrals to group colleagues.
