SBK Healthcare is a small, professional and supportive team of event specialists who enjoy a positive and respectful working environment. We build leading, national, in-person and online healthcare conferences and events targeted at NHS professionals.

The role
We are looking for a graduate who has previous experience working in events, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and strong attention for detail to join our operations team. You will be supporting, planning, managing and delivering face-to-face conferences, online forums, workshops and webinars.
Through supportive on-the-job training, you will quickly learn how our operations team manage and deliver these educational forums. You will be given responsibility for your own events from our forward schedule, managing them from handover, to delivery and post event follow-up. You will become a central part of the business, building functional relationships with members of each department.
Your responsibilities
- Operations support for all online forums and face-to-face conferences
- Independently managing, attending and hosting conferences and online webinars
- Speaker and delegate care, pre and post event correspondence
- Planning and delivering practice sessions with the speakers
- Post-event video editing for on demand viewing
Requirements
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills - you will be supporting a variety of people both online, on the phone and whilst attending face-to-face conferences
- Team worker – with a methodical, ‘can-do’ approach and the ability to juggle, and meet multiple deadlines
- Technologically confident – proficient using Zoom and confident onscreen with robust IT and keyboard skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable in different environments – whether being in the office or working from home running a Zoom event or travelling to face-to-face events
Previous experience of working in events or in a business environment is required. Candidates must be a graduate who has strong written and spoken communication skills, a keen eye for quality, attention to detail and a high level of desire to work in the events industry. A confident and ambitious approach is a definite requirement, as is the ability to work independently and to tight deadlines.
