About the Role
Express Blinds & Curtains are looking to add a Blind & Curtain Installer to our growing fitting team.
This role covers both residential and commercial installations, including residential homes, new‑build developments, and commercial or public‑sector settings. You’ll work closely with — and report into — our Lead Fitter, delivering high‑quality installations that reflect the care and craftsmanship behind our bespoke products.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing bespoke blinds, shutters, and curtains in residential homes and commercial premises
- Working to clear fitting instructions, company standards, and UK safety legislation
- Delivering a professional and respectful experience in customer homes, occupied buildings, and live sites
- Fitting child‑safety devices correctly and following compliance requirements
- Handling products and customer property with care at all times
- Working closely with the Lead Fitter, office team, site managers, and customers
- Keeping vans, tools, and equipment clean, organised, and well maintained
Who This Role Could Suit
We’re keen to hear from:
Experienced Installers
- Previous experience fitting blinds, curtains, shutters, or similar interior products
- Comfortable working independently and to a high standard
- Confident working in both domestic and commercial settings
Candidates Looking to Develop Their Installation Skills
- Practical or trade‑based experience with good hands‑on ability
- High attention to detail and pride in doing a job properly
- Willingness to learn, listen, and develop under the guidance of an experienced Lead Fitter
- Professional, reliable, and customer‑focused

About Us
Express Blinds & Curtains is a Yorkshire‑based manufacturer and installer of bespoke blinds, shutters, and curtains. Most of our products are made in‑house and installed by our own fitting teams. We work across private homes, new‑build developments, commercial and public‑sector projects — and we pride ourselves on high standards, attention to detail, and doing the job properly.
Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
