Rugged Earth supplies EVS and broadcast equipment hire and has provided the UK's most experienced sports VR analysis operators since 2006. We work behind the scenes on live sports broadcasts for major broadcasters.
We're hiring a Junior Resource Scheduler / Planner to join our planning team. You'll coordinate our two key resources — broadcast equipment and analysis operators — under the close supervision of our Resource Scheduling Manager, who'll train and mentor you. Scheduling experience is preferred but not essential.
What you'll do
- Plan the allocation of equipment and operators against upcoming jobs
- Coordinate logistics: transport, accommodation, accreditation and timings
- Liaise with staff on assignments, availability and expenses
- Process staff expenses through our in-house portal
- Keep schedules and records accurate and up to date
What we're looking for
- Meticulous attention to detail — small errors are costly in live broadcast
- Strong organisation and a calm, methodical approach to many moving parts
- Good communication skills, comfortable liaising with staff at all levels
- Confident with computer systems and learning new software
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential — rural office location)
- Scheduling/planning experience preferred but not essential
