ALB Scaffolding is an established scaffolding contractor delivering reliable access solutions across residential, commercial and industrial projects since 2014.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised and commercially minded Scaffolding Estimator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the estimating function and play a key role in the continued development of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender enquiries, drawings and specifications
- Prepare accurate quotations and estimates for scaffolding works
- Carry out take-offs and measurements
- Attend site visits where required
- Submit quotations and tenders within deadlines
- Follow up quotations and maintain client relationships
- Maintain estimating records and tender documentation
- Liaise with operational teams to ensure smooth project handover
- Assist in developing estimating procedures and improving internal processes
Requirements
- Previous estimating experience within the scaffolding industry (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Knowledge of construction tendering processes
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Full UK driving licence
