The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Woodworker to join our manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for building high-quality timber play equipment in a workshop environment. You’ll work alongside warehouse, component and products teams, playing a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and craftsmanship.

What you'll be doing
- Constructing and assembling timber play equipment including play towers, mud kitchens, and climbers
- Operating woodworking and component machinery safely and efficiently (e.g. chop saws, table saws, band saws, drills, sanders)
- Working from technical drawings and design specifications to ensure accuracy
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet BS EN1176 safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
- Managing materials efficiently to minimise waste
- Identifying and resolving challenges during the build process
- Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a productive workflow
- Preparing, finishing and stocking components ahead of workshop builds
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone who is reliable, has a passion for quality, has strong practical skills and can work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Essential
- Experience working in a woodworking workshop
- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Understanding of workshop health and safety practices
- High attention to detail and quality
Experience & skills
- Hands-on experience using a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Ability to produce safe and high-quality timber builds
- Good problem-solving skills and practical thinking
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Desirable
- Experience working on outdoor structures or play equipment
- Knowledge of BS EN1176 safety standards
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
