We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team. In this vital role, you will help create a comfortable and supportive environment, enabling our residents to be as independent as possible while ensuring their dignity and respect are maintained at all times.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities Include:

Person-Centred Care: Providing one-on-one and general personal care, including assisting with feeding, washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support & Enablement: Promoting social, self-help, and everyday living skills, assisting residents with limited mobility, and participating in recreational activities and outings.

Safety & Compliance: Appropriately supervising residents, reporting incidents immediately to the Nurse-in-Charge, and adhering to all Company, NISCC, and RQIA frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Hospitality: Assisting with serving food/drinks, laundry, maintaining clean and tidy bedrooms, and ensuring visitors feel welcome.

Administration: Completing all written records accurately and participating in mandatory training and staff meetings.
Required Criteria
-
Previous experience of caring for others, either in a professional capacity or as a lead carer for family members/relatives.

A genuine interest and passion for working with people with various care needs.

A confident communicator with a good command of the English language (written and spoken).

A dedicated team player.

Demonstrate kindness, empathy, and an acute understanding of the challenges facing new residents.

The ability to comply with NISCC registration requirements and satisfy the requirements of an Enhanced Access NI check.
Desired Criteria

Previous experience of working in a professional care environment.

Previous experience and/or training in care planning.

NVQ2 in Health & Social Care, a related area, or an equivalent/higher recognised qualification.
