Part-Time Bookkeeper & Accounts Assistant

Hours: 5 hours per week (Flexible: can be completed in one session or split into two sessions during the week)

Location: Bellanaleck 'Remote/Hybrid']

Salary: £20per hour (Dependent on experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable, highly organized part-time Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to manage our weekly and monthly financial paperwork. This is a compact, steady role perfectly suited for someone looking for a few hours of focused work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Accountancy: Processing day-to-day receipts, invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Payroll Processing: Preparing and managing weekly/monthly payroll administration.
VAT & MTD Compliance: Organizing and filing VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with and Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements.

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Familiarity with MTD and accounting software is highly desirable.
