Vertu Peugeot & Hyundai Banbury

Our Banbury business is a high-performing operation, bringing together 2 franchises—Peugeot and Hyundai—each with its own used car department. Combined, these teams consistently deliver over 100 used car sales per month, supported by strong demand and an established team.

Service and Parts operate across both brands, supported by a team of 13 technicians working on passenger and commercial vehicles. The site is also the hub for the group’s Stellantis Fleet operation, managing over 4,000 vehicle registrations annually.

Given the size, pace and complexity of the site, this role requires an experienced General Manager/Head of Business who can lead across all revenue streams, drive performance and build strong teams. With a significant Aftersales and Fleet operation alongside retail, this is a standout opportunity to lead a dynamic, high-impact business.

We offer a highly competitive package, including a £90,000 basic salary, £120,000 OTE, company car, 10% employer pension contribution and access to our Partnership Share Scheme, worth a further 12.5% of your OTE.

We’re looking for a proven automotive leader who can deliver performance across all departments while ensuring an excellent customer experience. You’ll build high-performing teams, maintain strong manufacturer relationships, and ensure operational and financial control across the business.

You’ll be accountable for all areas of the dealership, with a focus on performance, compliance, people and customer satisfaction. Strong leadership is essential—you’ll inspire your team, ensure standards are met, and create a safe, professional environment.

You will have a strong, stable track record as a General Manager within the sector, with proven success in new and used vehicle sales and a drive to achieve excellence by delivering both financial and customer centric results.

To protect our customers and our reputation, successful candidates will be required to undertake a DBS check, along with regular fit and proper person assessments. We will also request references from previous employers as part of our pre-employment checks.
