Onto the nitty gritty!
- Follow written test procedures (test scripts) step by step to ensure that software works as intended.
- Compare the actual result of each step against the expected result and record the outcome as pass or fail.
- Clearly and accurately report any problems (bugs) you find, describing what you did and what went wrong so others can understand and reproduce them.
- Re-test fixes once developers have addressed a reported issue.
- Enter test results and notes into the team's testing and tracking tools, and perform repetitive testing tasks carefully and consistently.
We’d like to meet someone with
- Proficient computer skills, with confidence using Windows, a web browser, email, and common applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot when something doesn't look or behave correctly.
- The ability to follow written instructions precisely and in the correct order.
- Clear written and verbal communication with a methodical, patient approach, including with repetitive tasks.
