QUAIFE are currently looking for a CNC operator to assist in the running of a variety of CNC machines, including lathes and mills, based at our Sevenoaks site.
Preferably, the applicant will have previous experience of working in a CNC environment and understand the relevant processes, able to read and understand machining drawings and confident in the use of measuring equipment such as micrometres and callipers.
Whether you have previous experience in a similar role or transferable skills from another industry, we promise to give you training, ongoing support and development.
If you have not worked in this environment before but have an interest in doing so, in-house training will be given to help you succeed in this role. In return you must have a good work ethic, excellent timekeeping and an attitude geared towards learning.
The main responsibilities for the successful candidate will be:
· Ensuring all machines in the cell are kept running as efficiently as possible.
· Checking parts as required to the check sheets supplied and notifying the setter if any alterations are needed.
· Ensuring that your working area is clean and tidy at all times.
· Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the management team where the needs of the business require it.
Desired Experience:
· Previously worked in a manufacturing environment (CNC).
· Able to read and understand machining drawings
· Use of measuring equipment such as micrometres and callipers.

This position is available for an immediate start. The rate of pay is dependent on experience.
