Planning Administrator

We're looking for a Planning Administrator to join our South West Water team based in Exeter.

Location: Exeter
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

As a Planning Administrator, you'll play a key role within Kier Infrastructure's Natural Resources team, supporting reinstatement planning on the South West Water contract. You'll coordinate and schedule reinstatement works following excavation, ensuring jobs are planned efficiently, resources are aligned, and works are completed in line with safety, quality, and customer expectations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team where your organisational skills and attention to detail will make a real impact.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Planning Administrator, you'll be working within the Natural Resources team, supporting them in delivering efficient and compliant reinstatement activity. Your day to day will include:

Planning and scheduling reinstatement works following excavation, ensuring timescales are met
Coordinating with operational teams, supervisors and subcontractors to support effective delivery
Reviewing work orders, permit conditions and site information to identify priorities and risks
Maintaining accurate planning records and updating systems with job progress and outcomes
Supporting compliance with safety, traffic management and local authority requirements
