Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this pivotal role, you will lead daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and support the management team in maintaining a high-performing, efficient, and welcoming environment. Your passion for food, hospitality, and team leadership will drive the success of our restaurant, creating memorable experiences for every guest. Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Support staff training and development to foster a motivated, knowledgeable team capable of delivering outstanding customer service.
Manage inventory control processes, including stock ordering, food handling procedures, and waste reduction initiatives to optimize profitability.
Supervise food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety compliance in accordance with health regulations.
Handle POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Assist with shift management by coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow during busy periods.
Ensure adherence to all food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and hospitality regulations to provide a safe dining environment.
Support management in budgeting activities, cost control measures, and operational planning to meet business goals.
Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Participate in interviewing prospective team members and contribute to staff training & development programs to build a strong team culture.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in quick service & fast food environments or casual dining settings.
Demonstrated leadership skills with previous assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and managing food production processes.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork within diverse groups.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
