£40,000–£60,000 OTE + Company Car + Uncapped Commission

Founded in 1923, Livery Dole is one of the South West’s longest established and few remaining independently owned motor dealerships — proudly employee-owned and family-led.

Based in Marsh Barton, Exeter, we are Main Dealers Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Subaru and Microlino. As our business continues to grow and evolve, we remain committed to delivering the high standards of customer care, expertise and service that our customers have trusted for over 100 years.

Our dealership offers new and used vehicle sales, servicing, MOTs and repairs across all makes and models, including EV and light commercial vehicles.

We are now looking for two ambitious and motivated Sales Executives to join our growing team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career within a long established, growing independent dealership that genuinely values its people.

Key responsibilities include:

Handling customer enquiries from showroom, telephone and online leads
Proactively prospecting for new business opportunities
Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
Supporting customers throughout the vehicle buying journey
Assisting with the preparation and handover of vehicles
Identifying customer needs and matching suitable vehicles and products
Presenting vehicle features and benefits professionally and confidently
Negotiating and closing deals effectively
Promoting finance, accessories and additional products compliantly
Maintaining excellent showroom presentation and brand standards
Delivering excellent customer satisfaction throughout the ownership journey

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

Ambitious, motivated and customer-focused
Confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, organised and punctual
Passionate about cars and delivering exceptional customer experiences
Experienced in sales (motor trade experience preferred but not essential)
Comfortable using dealership systems and Microsoft Office
A holder of a full UK driving licence
