Are you a passionate, evidence-based Women's Health Physiotherapist looking to join an established multidisciplinary clinic where you can genuinely make a difference?
At Barefoot Physio, we're looking for an experienced Women's Health Physiotherapist to take over and continue developing our thriving Women's Health service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into an established caseload with strong referral pathways, excellent online visibility, and the support of a collaborative team who are passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
Whether you're looking for employed or self-employed work, we're happy to discuss the most appropriate arrangement and hours for the right candidate.
About Barefoot Physio
Barefoot Physio is an established, evidence-based physiotherapy and wellness clinic located in Exeter city centre. Our multidisciplinary team includes physiotherapists, massage therapists, movement coaches and personal trainers, allowing us to provide truly integrated care for our patients.
We believe clinicians deliver their best work when they're trusted, supported and given the time to focus on excellent patient care rather than simply ticking boxes.
Our Women's Health service has an excellent reputation locally, with an established client base, consistent referrals and strong visibility through our website, social media and internal multidisciplinary referrals.
The Role
You'll assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of Women's Health conditions, helping patients regain confidence, improve function and achieve meaningful long-term outcomes.
Your role will include:

- Developing individualised, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals.
- Delivering hands-on physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation, education and self-management strategies.
- Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment plans to optimise outcomes.
- Confidently explaining diagnoses, rehabilitation timelines and realistic expectations.
- Building strong therapeutic relationships that encourage patient engagement and long-term success.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records using our modern practice management systems.
- Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide joined-up patient care.
- Where appropriate, there is opportunity to develop a broader musculoskeletal caseload alongside Women's Health.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced Women's Health Physiotherapist with a genuine passion for helping people move, recover and thrive.
- Demonstrates excellent clinical reasoning and delivers evidence-based care.
- Has strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and Women's Health rehabilitation.
- Is confident managing conditions such as pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions and postnatal rehabilitation.
- Communicates complex information clearly and compassionately.
- Is organised, proactive and able to manage their caseload efficiently.
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Is committed to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy would be advantageous but is not essential.
What We Offer
- An established Women's Health caseload from day one.
- Strong referral pathways and cross-referrals from our multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent website visibility and ongoing marketing support.
- Clinical autonomy within a supportive, experienced team.
- Flexible working arrangements and hours.
- Administrative support and efficient clinical systems to maximise your clinical time.
- A fully equipped rehabilitation gym.
- Regular CPD opportunities and collaborative learning.
- Complimentary monthly massage.
- A modern city-centre clinic with an excellent local reputation.
- The opportunity to shape and further develop our growing Women's Health service.
