At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
Beaumont Vets in Exeter are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team.
Our single-site practice has a close-knit, welcoming feel, where clinical freedom is encouraged and you’ll have the opportunity to manage your own caseload with support from nearby referral centres when needed.
You’ll be working alongside our Lead Vet, Tshidi Gardener, who sits on the RCVS board, as well as a collaborative team of vets, RVNs, client care colleagues and our Practice Director. With a certificate holder in ophthalmology and a strong focus on development, we actively support CPD and encourage vets to pursue their clinical interests.
The role offers a great balance of consultations and surgery, with a varied caseload including cats, dogs and small furries. Surgical work is largely routine, with referral options available when needed.
We’ve also invested heavily in the practice, with modern equipment including ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, laparoscopic kit and a new dental machine, giving you everything you need to deliver high-quality care.
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice.
