Are you a professional SIA Door Supervisor looking to work at some of the South West's most exciting events?
Gardant Support Services is recruiting Event Security Officers to join our growing team in Exeter. We deliver security and crowd management services across a wide range of events, including festivals, concerts, sporting events, university functions, community celebrations and private events.
We're looking for professional, customer-focused individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional service while helping to keep people safe.
The Role
As an Event Security Officer, you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for visitors, staff and performers.
Your duties may include:
- Managing access and egress points
- Conducting searches where required
- Crowd management and queue control
- Patrolling event venues
- Responding to incidents and emergencies
- Providing excellent customer service
- Working alongside event organisers, emergency services and other stakeholders
- Completing reports where required
Every event is different, offering varied and rewarding work throughout the year.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional and reliable approach
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Previous event security experience
- Own transport (advantageous but not essential)
