MECA Car Services is an independent lady owned and award winning garage, based on the popular Sowton Industrial Estate in Exeter. We offer repairs, servicing and MOTs for all makes of cars and light commercial vehicles including 4x4s and motorhomes.
We are looking for an Apprentice Mechanic / Vehicle Technician who already has some basic experience in car maintenance, who now wishes to complete their qualification, initially on an NVQ-2 two-year apprenticeship course, with the option of subsequent progression to NVQ-3.
Full training and support will be given. Once qualified to NVQ-3 standard priority consideration will be given to offering a permanent contract with us.
You must already have some basic experience in servicing and repairing vehicles, as well as be capable of operating with a high level of efficiency. You should live in or very near to Exeter and have a full current UK driving licence (cars not bikes!).

Good at working as part of a small team and having a sense of humour are essential qualities!
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (inc college day during term time). No weekend working.
Apprentice salary range £8.00 – £13.00 per hour depending on age/proven experience/knowledge, plus other benefits.
