Full job description

Overview
The role of '360' involves operating heavy machinery, specifically excavators, to assist in various construction and excavation projects. This position is crucial for ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable with commercial driving, as the role may require transporting equipment to different sites.Must have right to work in uk.must hold Cpcs/Npors ticket.Must have over 5 years of experience.

Please note this is prison job so DBS check required

Duties

Operate 360-degree excavators for excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute projects effectively.
Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Transport equipment to and from job sites as required, ensuring compliance with road safety standards.
Assist in the training of new operators on equipment usage and safety practices.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
Proficiency in operating excavators, with relevant certifications preferred.
Commercial driving experience is advantageous for transporting equipment safely.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
A commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
