The Role
We're looking for a Bookkeeper & Office Manager to keep our finances, office and day-to-day operations running smoothly during maternity cover.
This is a varied role that combines bookkeeping, administration, travel coordination and general office management. You'll work closely with the leadership team and support colleagues across the business.
There will also be occasional opportunities to assist with event delivery, both in the UK and, where appropriate, internationally.
Key Responsibilities - Bookkeeping & Finance
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
- Process purchase invoices and supplier payments.
- Raise and manage sales invoices.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Credit control and customer payment follow-up.
- Process employee expenses.
- Prepare VAT information and assist with VAT returns.
- Support monthly management accounts.
- Liaise with our external accountants when required.
- Maintain accurate financial filing and documentation.
Office Management
- Manage the day-to-day running of the office.
- Order office supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate deliveries and incoming/outgoing deliveries.
- Maintain office facilities and liaise with suppliers.
- Support company policies and administrative processes.
- Keep records and documentation organised and up to date.
Travel & Administration
- Book UK and international flights, hotels and transport.
- Coordinate travel itineraries for staff.
- Assist with visas and travel documentation where required.
- Provide general administrative support to the management team.
Event Support
- Provide occasional administrative support before events.
- Assist with logistics and equipment preparation.
- Occasionally attend events to support registration, administration or client services.
- Help ensure event operations run smoothly alongside the wider team.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced using Xero.
- Confident with bookkeeping and financial administration.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Friendly, approachable and professional.
- A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Happy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Desirable Experience
- Previous bookkeeping or finance administration experience.
- Office management or executive administration experience.
- Experience coordinating travel.
- Familiarity with event management or live events.
- Experience working within a small business.

Working Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).
Some flexibility and occasional out-of-hours work may be required to support events and business travel.
Pay: £25,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
