West Devon Fire Protection specialises in Passive Fire Stopping & Fire Door works for a variety of Customers. We are one of the fastest growing third party accredited companies in the South West with contracts which cover the South West, Wales, Midlands, Home Counties and the South East.
About the role~
- Lead and manage the service team to ensure high-quality customer service delivery.
- Full oversight and involvement of all live jobs which includes full planning and operational
support of the office staffing.
- Develop strategies to improve overall quality and productivity.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff to improve their skills in customer service and upselling.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive relationship with clients.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring timely reordering as necessary.
- Report on team performance and outcomes to senior management.
About You~
- Ability to lead a small team, motivate staff, and foster teamwork.
- Ability to resolve complex customer complaints and operational issues.
- IT literate with an ability to learn new IT systems that the company uses.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent telephone manner. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and re-prioritise.
- Ability to handle pressure and good time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Friendly, calm, and professional manner.
The finer details~
- Salary: £25,000-30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday
- 8am-5pm
- Annual leave (pro rata) ~ 28 days inc Bank Holidays (January to December) Free on site parking

Probationary period~
The probationary period for this employment is 3 months. The employment is not confirmed until completion of this period.
Training~
Job specific training will be provided by your employer/supervisor and you will be required to attend any training/qualification courses your employer deems appropriate.
Pay~
Your rate of pay is £25,000-30,000 per annum depending on experience . You will be paid on a monthly basis, on or before the 28th of the month. Tax and National Insurance will be deducted. You will be paid by Bank Transfer. Pension enrolment is automatic.
Pension Scheme~
As an employee of West Devon Fire Protection you will be assessed and automatically enrolled onto the Smart pension scheme. Deductions will be made from your wages at a rate of 5%, and as your employer, we make a contribution of 3% that will be added
