We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join our expanding team, delivering high-quality maintenance, reactive works and small installations across Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Intruder and Access Control systems.

The Role
To undertake Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control maintenance, reactive call-outs and small works projects, operating within the Security & Fire team while ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Deliver Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control maintenance works in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements and timescales.
- Liaise effectively with the Service Team to ensure works are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Identify, diagnose and resolve repair, maintenance and installation issues encountered during service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and safe systems of work.
- Participate in the standby and out-of-hours call-out rota, responding promptly to corrective maintenance requirements.
- Maintain company vehicle, equipment and tools in good condition.
- Support the wider engineering team and comply with reasonable management instructions.
Key Performance Indicators
- Delivery of works in line with client specifications and agreed timescales.
- Completion of planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Achievement and maintenance of required technical competencies and Health & Safety standards.
- Effective management and upkeep of company vehicle and equipment.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience within both Fire Alarm and Security systems.
- FIA qualifications and a strong working knowledge of BS5839.
- Experience servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting systems.
- Knowledge of system integration across multiple disciplines (advantageous).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Good Health & Safety awareness.
- Full UK driving licence.
- ECS, CSCS and/or IPAF cards.
- A flexible and proactive approach to work.
- Willingness to travel nationally when required, with occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting systems or similar.
- Electrical background essential.
- Fire Extinguisher training preferred.
- Ideally a minimum of five years' relevant industry experience.
