Accounts Receivable Clerk

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the efficient management of incoming payments, maintain accurate financial records, and help ensure strong cash flow for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
\u25cf Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
\u25cf Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
\u25cf Follow up on overdue payments via phone, email, and written communication
\u25cf Reconcile incoming payments and resolve discrepancies
\u25cf Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
\u25cf Assist with month-end closing activities
\u25cf Prepare reports on receivables, aging balances, and cash collections
\u25cf Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues
Requirements:
\u25cf Previous experience in accounts receivable, finance, or a similar role
\u25cf Strong numerical and analytical skills
\u25cf Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
\u25cf Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
\u25cf Good communication and interpersonal skills
\u25cf Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable Skills:
\u25cf Experience with ERP system (eg. Xero)
\u25cf Knowledge of basic accounting principles
\u25cf AAT qualification or working towards one
