Full job description

We are looking for an experienced PVC Compounding Machine Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring PVC compounding equipment to produce high-quality PVC pellets while maintaining production efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate PVC compounding and pelletising machinery.
Set up machines and adjust production parameters as required.
Monitor product quality and carry out routine quality checks.
Load raw materials and manage material usage.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major faults.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Complete production records and reports.
Follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience operating PVC compounding, extrusion, or plastic processing machinery.
Good understanding of PVC formulations and manufacturing processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Forklift licence beneficial but not essential.
