Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production , with a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meat products, ensuring that all items meet our standards and you must be able to cut whole carcasses of beef ,lamb, pork and venison. Sausage making would be good but not absolutely essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cut various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, and lamb, according to specifications.
Ensure all meat products are handled and stored in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the butchery area, adhering to strict hygiene standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Butcher .
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to operate butchery equipment safely and efficiently.
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meat preparation.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced busy factory environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
