Marquee & Temporary Structures Installer
Pay: £12.71 - £15.00 per hour + Overtime

Perfect if you have already built marquees for weddings, festivals, sporting events or exhibitions. You do not need swimming pool experience.

Our projects combine large temporary structures, swimming pools, filtration systems and heating equipment to create fully operational swimming facilities within just a few days.
We're growing and looking for experienced marquee erectors and temporary structure installers to join our nationwide installation team.
If you've worked building marquees, exhibition structures, event infrastructure or temporary buildings, we'd love to hear from you.
We'll teach you everything you need to know about the swimming pool systems.
The Role
Working alongside our Crew Leaders and National Installation Manager, you'll travel across England helping build, dismantle and relocate our temporary swimming pool facilities.
Every week is different.
One week you could be building a pool in Newcastle, the next dismantling one in Essex before moving it to another school ready for Monday morning swimming lessons.
You'll become part of a specialist installation team delivering one of the UK's most unique educational services.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and dismantle temporary marquee structures.
- Assemble temporary swimming pool systems.
- Install pool liners, pipework, pumps and filtration equipment (full training provided).
- Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles.
- Prepare equipment ready for the next installation.
- Clean pools and equipment before relocation.
- Work safely and professionally at all times.
- Represent Primary Pools positively on school sites.
About You
We're looking for people with experience in one or more of the following:
- Marquee erection
- Temporary structures
- Event infrastructure
- Exhibition builds
- Portable buildings
- Outdoor events
- Construction
- Site installation
You'll also be:
- Practical and hands-on.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Happy travelling nationwide.
- Comfortable staying away overnight when required.
- A team player who takes pride in producing high-quality work.
No swimming pool experience is necessary.
We'll provide full training on our specialist pool systems.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
- Experience working outdoors.
- Comfortable lifting and assembling temporary structures.
- Flexible to work weekends during installation periods.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
