The White Hart, Witley is a small, independent, modern British barbecue concept, delivering next-level food and drink experiences. Barbecue is the method—100% wood-fired, smoked low and slow, with a heavy hit of eclectic Asian influence. Think proper burgers, fresh, punchy sides, and quirky desserts that make you rethink everything you know about sweet treats.
Who are you?
A hospitality pro (or an eager up-and-comer) with a sharp eye, a quick wit, and a work ethic that won’t quit. You thrive in fast-paced environments, know how to charm a table, and can juggle a tray of cocktails while still making every guest feel like they’ve just stepped into their second home.
You’ll know your mezcal from your sake, your IPA from your pilsner, and your old fashioned from your Negroni. If you don’t, you’re willing to learn—fast. Because at The White Hart, we don’t just serve drinks; we craft experiences.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering exceptional service with energy, personality, and a genuine love for hospitality.
- Taking orders, running food, and keeping our guests fed, watered, and happy.
- Keeping the bar stocked, the beer ice cold, and the cocktails on point.
- Knowing the menu inside out and making solid recommendations.
- Keeping the place slick, clean, and running like clockwork.
What we need from you:
- Speed, confidence, and a cracking sense of humour.
- A team player—because we’re in this together, and no one stands still when there’s work to be done.
- The ability to think on your feet and handle a full section like a pro.
- Reliability. No sudden illnesses when the sun’s out, no vanishing acts mid-service.
- A genuine passion for great food, banging drinks, and top-tier hospitality.
