Receptionist / Salon Assistant

The Retreat Hair & Beauty is looking for a friendly, motivated and professional team member to join our busy salon in Farnham.

This role would particularly suit somebody who has recently completed their Level 2 Hairdressing qualification and is looking to continue developing their skills and experience within a professional salon environment.

The position combines some front of house reception duties with hands-on salon assisting, making it a fantastic opportunity for somebody wanting to build a long-term career within the industry.

Responsibilities Include:

Reception & Front of House

Welcoming clients and creating an exceptional salon experience
Managing bookings and appointments
Taking payments
Helping maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the salon

Salon Assistant Duties

Shampooing and conditioning clients’ hair
Supporting stylists throughout the day
Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the salon
Assisting the salon team where required

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has recently completed a Level 2 Hairdressing qualification or is working towards one
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is confident, friendly and professional
Works well as part of a team
Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
