The purpose of this role is to own and execute the Digital Shelf strategy across Europe for a major pureplay online retailer. You will hold direct responsibility for Content, Search Placement, and Ratings & Reviews, while holding indirect responsibility for on-shelf availability by collaborating with the wider commercial team to drive core metrics. You will lead the Pan-European test-and-learn strategy for content, continuously optimizing pages to maximize traffic and conversion rates. Working in close partnership with the Retail Media manager, you will ensure the delivery of high-converting landing pages for all media activations. Furthermore, you will partner with brand and content teams to guarantee a best-in-class shopper experience. You will also collaborate with Global Digital teams to activate strategies across EMEA while supporting and upskilling local country teams on digital shelf fundamentals.
Search Placement: You will measure and improve organic placement and share of page in line with targets while owning the keyword strategy to ensure all content is fully optimized. Furthermore, you will utilize digital shelf strategies to optimize for the retailer’s search algorithm to drive visibility and conversion. This integrated approach ensures consistent performance and alignment with established commercial goals.
Ratings and Reviews: You will own the overarching strategy for the retailer to ensure strict brand metric compliance while managing the full lifecycle of ratings and reviews. By systematically tracking consumer sentiment, you will derive and deliver actionable insights back to the brand teams. This approach ensures a data-driven alignment with commercial goals and consistent brand representation.
