About us
Triumph AV is a growing company based in Boughton, Nottinghamshire, built around a simple belief: our engineers are our business. Working primarily in the commercial sector, we specialise in delivering high-quality, integrated AV solutions and we invest heavily in the people who make that happen. If you want to sharpen your craft, take on ambitious projects and be backed by a management team that genuinely cares how you're getting on, you'll fit right in.
The role
We're looking for an experienced AV Engineer to join our installation team. You already know your way around a commercial AV install and you take real pride in doing it properly. Day to day, you'll:
- Install and integrate high-quality AV systems across a range of commercial environments
- Work alongside a close-knit team of AV engineers to keep projects running smoothly
- Get hands-on with the latest, ever-evolving AV technology
- Help bring on our junior and trainee engineers, sharing what you know
- Keep growing your own career, backed by a team invested in your success
Let's be straight about the travel
This is a site-based role, you'll be working at client locations, not sat behind a desk. Many of our projects are across the UK and Europe, so there's a meaningful amount of time away from home: typically away Monday to Friday, home for the weekend. We won't dress that up. What we will do is keep things predictable, standard hours are 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday and make the time away as smooth and well-supported as we can, including a £25 nightly subsistence allowance for every night you're away. If a steady routine and seeing new places as part of the job appeals to you, this could be a great fit.
What you'll bring
- Solid hands-on experience installing AV systems in commercial settings
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Strong practical knowledge of tools and how to use them
- Happy to spend the working week away from home, on projects across the UK and abroad
- A full UK driving licence
Nice to have (not essential)
- AVIXA CTS certification
- Site qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, ECS or EFAW
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
Not from a pure AV background but genuinely close (network infrastructure, security systems, electrical or fire alarms) with the right technical instincts and a real drive to move into AV? We'd still like to hear from you.
What we offer
- £28,000–£38,000 depending on experience
- £25 per night subsistence allowance for every night you're away from home
- Company van (once you're working independently) and industry-standard tools provided
- Monthly team training sessions to keep you developing
- Regular team meetings and social lunches
- Real opportunities to grow as our team expands

A cover letter isn't required, but we'd love to get to know you. Feel free to add a short note telling us why you'd be a great fit and what makes you stand out.
