Are you an experienced Bathroom Designer who loves working with customers, creating inspiring designs and helping people transform their homes?
We’re looking for an ambitious and personable Bathroom Design & Sales Consultant to join our growing showroom team in Bolton.
This is much more than a typical showroom sales role. You’ll become a trusted advisor to customers, helping them bring their dream bathrooms to life through expert design, product knowledge and outstanding customer service.

Alongside a competitive basic salary, you’ll benefit from an uncapped commission structure with realistic earnings of £55,000+ OTE. The more customers you help and sales you generate, the more you’ll earn.
The Role
This is a customer-focused role where building relationships and creating an exceptional experience is just as important as your design ability.
You will be responsible for guiding customers through the showroom journey from their first visit through to order confirmation.
You will:
- Proactively welcome customers into the showroom and build rapport from the moment they arrive.
- Sit down with customers to understand their lifestyle, design preferences, practical requirements and budget.
- Create a relaxed, professional and enjoyable consultation experience that makes customers feel comfortable and confident in your advice.
- Use your creativity, design expertise and product knowledge to create inspiring bathroom solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
- Produce designs efficiently using CAD software and confidently present your ideas to customers.
- Prepare detailed quotations and proposals using CRM systems, ensuring customers receive accurate pricing promptly.
- Discuss products, specifications and budgets confidently while helping customers make informed decisions.
- Convert enquiries into sales through excellent customer service, product knowledge and relationship building rather than high-pressure sales techniques.
- Take deposits and process customer payments.
- Place and manage supplier orders accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure products are delivered on time and projects remain on track.
- Work closely with our installation manager to ensure a smooth handover once the sale has been completed.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers throughout the ordering process.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience that generates repeat business, referrals and five-star reviews.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bathroom showroom sales and design experience.
- A strong understanding of bathroom products, layouts and current design trends.
- Excellent product knowledge across sanitaryware, furniture, brassware, showers, tiles and accessories.
- Strong CAD design skills with the ability to create designs efficiently and accurately.
- Experience using CRM systems and producing detailed quotations.
- A creative eye for design and a passion for helping customers create beautiful spaces.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence discussing budgets, pricing and product recommendations with customers.
- A proactive and professional approach with the confidence to engage customers as they enter the showroom.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple customer projects and orders simultaneously.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- A positive, self-motivated and target-driven attitude.
