Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analysing tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and scripts based on product specifications and requirements.
Execute manual and automated tests across various stages of the product lifecycle to identify defects or inconsistencies.
Analyse test results meticulously, documenting findings clearly and accurately for review by the development team.
Collaborate with engineers and developers to troubleshoot issues, suggest improvements, and validate fixes.
Maintain detailed records of testing activities, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality standards.
Contribute to the optimisation of testing processes by recommending new tools or methodologies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights into product performance and reliability.

Experience

Proven experience in quality assurance or testing within a technical or engineering environment.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify root causes of issues.
Familiarity with testing tools, automation frameworks, and scripting languages is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure thorough testing coverage.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings effectively.
Prior experience in a similar role demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality assurance is preferred.
