Location: Ferndown, office-based

Salary- £27,000 - £31,000 per annum DOE

Purpose of Role

To support A2V’s commitment to increasing sustainability across all markets by ensuring packaging data, waste declarations and recycling information are accurate, compliant and aligned with global environmental schemes.

This role plays a key part in ensuring our products and suppliers meet A2V’s sustainability standards, supporting responsible product development and strengthening customer trust.

You will be at the centre of how A2V tracks, improves and delivers packaging sustainability compliance globally.

Accountabilities

On-time submission of packaging sustainability and waste compliance data for all markets.
Accuracy and completeness of packaging material data, recycling logo application and environmental labelling
Maintain compliance with global packaging and environmental schemes such as OPRL, ARL, WEE, Cyclos and CITEO.
Provide in-house sustainability compliance support for product sample reviews.
Effective tracking and reporting of packaging sustainability compliance activities.
Clear communication of sustainability compliance updates and risks to the Compliance Manager.

Responsibilities

Manage packaging sustainability and waste compliance submissions for all markets, ensuring deadlines and data standards are met.
Maintain accurate packaging databases with up-to-date material composition and recyclability data.

Coordinate and approve recycling and environmental compliance logos on packaging artwork.

Act as in-house sustainability compliance contact for product sample reviews, verifying labelling, packaging and regulatory adherence.
Collect and verify packaging sustainability data from suppliers and internal teams.
Track and report on compliance status across customer and market sustainability requirements.
Monitor global packaging waste and sustainability regulations and communicate key updates
Support continuous improvement in packaging sustainability, data accuracy and regulatory compliance processes.
Collaborate with Product, Design and Commercial teams to ensure packaging sustainability compliance is integrated early in the product lifecycle.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and data tracking tools.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage large datasets accurately.
Genuine interest in sustainability and environmental compliance.

Desirable:

Experience with packaging compliance schemes such as OPRL, ARL, WEE, Cyclos or CITEO.
Prior experience in compliance, sustainability or supply chain.
Understanding of packaging materials and recyclability
