Company Description

Green Leaf Engineering are a renewables specialist based at Team Valley, Gateshead, designing and delivering sustainable energy solutions across the UK. Our work spans solar PV systems, heat pumps, battery storage, EV charging infrastructure, LED lighting, and solar canopies. As a dedicated renewable energy contractor, GLE focuses on the decarbonisation of commercial properties, supporting clients through the entire lifecycle of their carbon‑reduction journey. This includes initial feasibility studies and system design through to full project management, installation, delivery, and commissioning. We are committed to helping organisations reduce CO₂ emissions and generate clean, efficient energy for a more sustainable future.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Gateshead for a Project Manager. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and overseeing renewable energy projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will manage project schedules, logistics, budgets, and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with quality standards and client requirements. Key duties include liaising with teams, monitoring project progress, conducting inspections, managing subcontractor performance, and facilitating effective communication across stakeholders. Strong organisational and leadership skills are essential to ensure the successful delivery of all projects.

Candidate Requirements

Experience in Project Management, including budget management and team coordination
Skills in Expediting, Expeditor processes, and timely management of project deliverables
Knowledge of on-site Inspection and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
Candidates must have the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
A full UK driving licence, as travel to sites across the country is essential
Possession of a CSCS card and/or SMSTS/SSSTS certification is desirable
