Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality aluminium components and structures, ensuring precision and durability in all work. Responsibilities
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling aluminium profiles according to technical specifications
- Operating fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Using hand tools and tooling to perform precise modifications and assembly tasks
- Applying mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication processes
- Ensuring all components meet quality standards through inspection and testing
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Reading technical drawings and using basic maths to measure materials accurately
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects within deadlines
Experience
- Previous experience in aluminium or metal fabrication is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or background in metalworking enhances suitability for this role
- Experience with assembly processes and basic mathematical skills are beneficial for precise work
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adhering to safety protocols is essential
