Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bench Joiner to join our team. As a Bench Joiner you will be responsible for cutting, edging and producing furniture items such as wardrobes, office suites from sheet material. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our tight-knit team, providing craftsmanship, attention to detail, and passion for woodworking in a fast-paced construction or manufacturing environment.

Duties

Fabricate sheet material by accurately measuring, cutting, edging, and shaping materials using hand tools and power tools.
Assemble joinery pieces with precision, ensuring close attention to detail and flawless finishes.
Operate various woodworking machinery such as panel saws, edgebander, drills, sanders, and routers safely and efficiently.
Interpret technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate workpieces.
Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry with a focus on joinery techniques.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and screwdrivers.
Skilled in operating power tools including drills, sanders, routers, and saws safely.
Ability to lift heavy materials safely during fabrication and installation processes.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication skills to interpret technical drawings and collaborate effectively with team members.

Pay: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
