Setna iO is a fast growing aviation aftermarket parts trading and MRO business with sites across the US, the UK and Lithuania. Our trading business runs on AvSight, an aviation ERP delivered as a managed package on Salesforce, with a large amount of custom development layered on top of it.
This is our first IT position in Europe, based at our new facility in Pitstone, Bucks. The person in this seat will own day-to-day administration of Salesforce and AvSight for our European trading team and will be the first point of contact for IT across our UK sites.
Approximately 60 to 70 percent of the role will focus on Salesforce and AvSight, the rest, general IT and our other business systems. This will be a full member of the global IT team who happens to sit in Europe, not a regional help desk - with real room to shape how IT works as we grow.

Key responsibilities:
- Own day to day administration of Salesforce and AvSight for European users. Users, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules and license assignment.
- Build and maintain configuration across standard objects, custom objects and the AvSight managed package. Flows, validation rules, record types, page layouts, reports and dashboards.
- Act as the primary IT contact for the European trading team during their working day. Take the request, resolve what you can, hand off cleanly to US HQ when you cannot.
- Support data work. Loads and mass updates, item and inventory master maintenance, data cleanup, and reporting requests from traders and management.
- Be the boots on the ground for our UK sites. Laptop provisioning, new starter setup, printers and scanners, meeting rooms, network hardware, and local vendor coordination.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID for European users. Accounts, groups, MFA, licenses, application access and offboarding.
- Train and support users directly. Much of the value here is adoption, not build.
- Take real workstreams on global IT projects with the Chicago team. Releases, integrations, rollouts and acquisition integration, not only the European slice.
- Document what you build and what you find. Runbooks, configuration decisions, access models. We have very little today.
- Grow into our other business systems over time, including Power Apps, Power BI and the ERPs at our European operations.
Candidate requirements:
- Five to ten years in IT across a few different roles. A career spent entirely in consulting, or in one specialty, is less of a fit than someone who has been in house and owned systems end to end.
- Three or more years of hands on Salesforce administration. Salesforce Certified Administrator required, Advanced Administrator preferred.
- Real experience beyond standard Salesforce CRM. Custom objects, and managed packages or ISV applications in a production org. You know where a package boundary sits, what can and cannot be changed inside it, and how upgrades behave. This is the most important technical requirement in the role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, endpoint provisioning and support, and enough networking to triage an issue with a vendor on the phone.
- Comfortable being the only IT person in the region during your working day. Good judgment on what to fix and what to escalate, calm under pressure, strong written communication.
- Willing to do both halves of the job. Platform configuration in the morning, a warehouse printer in the afternoon. Small team, jack of all trades role.
- Able to read Apex and a debug log well enough to know when to hand off. This is not a developer role.
- Preferred: aviation aftermarket, parts distribution, MRO or another physical goods industry. ERP experience, Power Platform, Power BI and a second European language are pluses.
