Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one educational support to SEN students in various subjects. Your role will involve assessing students' needs, developing customised lesson plans, and implementing effective teaching strategies to help them achieve academic success. Own transport essential for face to face positions, but online tutoring is also available.
Responsibilities
- Develop personalised lesson plans based on individual student requirements
- Provide instruction and guidance in various subjects, including but not limited to Math and English.
- Utilise effective teaching methods and resources to enhance students' understanding of the subject matter
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Offer constructive feedback and encouragement to motivate students
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
Experience:
- Previous experience in tutoring SEN is essential
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students of all ages
- Familiarity with educational resources and technology tools for tutoring purposes
