Our award-winning technologies are trusted by defence, security, and industrial customers in over 70 countries. With in-house R&D, cutting-edge innovation, and a global reputation for quality, we design and manufacture solutions that perform in the toughest environments.

About You

We are seeking an Android Developer with at least three years of professional experience in Android development to design, implement, and maintain high-performance, reliable software systems. The role involves working across the full development lifecycle, with emphasis on efficient algorithms, robust system design, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applications for Android.
Participate in system architecture and design discussions.
Debug, profile, and optimise applications for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, and product stakeholders.
Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Android development.
Experience with both Java and Kotlin.
Experience with both Jetpack Compose and XML layouts.
Experience with background services, storage, and lifecycle management.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, REST and JSON APIS, and web frameworks such as Angular.
Experience with TCP and UDP socket programming, and Android's networking stack.
Experience with hardware interfacing.
Experience with additional languages (e.g. Python, C#) or platforms (Linux, Windows)

Personal projects and contributions to open-source projects will also be well received, if they are supported with repository links.
